Artist Statement
In a world where so much is happening all the time and we spend so much energy “adulting” a little whimsy is much needed.
So often we create magic and whimsy for children, but as we grow it’s easy to lose that magic. We’re told there’s no space for it, that it’s too childish. My art is here to put some of that enchantment back into the world. Here you might see a dinosaur having tea, or a frog on a bike waiting for you to join them.
So welcome to my world of whimsy and wonder, I hope you take some whimsy and a smile with you when you go.
Artist Bio
T.s. Lamb lives in Pontiac with her cats, kids and hubby. She grew up in a town of trolls, went to the college of EMU and spent time in the land of fairies. Most recently she’s taken up set painting for local theaters and illustrating children’s books. Otherwise, you will find her kayaking, biking or snowshoeing. After all, inspiration is everywhere.
